This transaction will enable Aquila to advance its broad mandate to purchase, sell, finance and lease aircraft, engines and other aviation equipment. Funds managed by Wafra will acquire a controlling interest in Aquila at closing and provide significant capital to expand its product offerings and services to its global customer base and accelerate growth.
