Since 1999, local philanthropists have turned to Waccamaw Community Foundation to effectively manage their giving and meet community needs. We serve many people who share a common concern: improving quality of life in Horry and Georgetown Counties. We make charitable giving simple and effective by offering individuals creative ways to establish and manage funds that will positively impact the Waccamaw Region for generations to come. We also offer advice about projects and organizations that match your areas of interest, helping you meet your philanthropic goals. Waccamaw Community Foundation has made a lasting impact in Horry and Georgetown Counties. Through the generosity of our donors, we have awarded more than $17.8 million in grants since our 1999. We aim to continue that legacy by helping donors of the Waccamaw Region connect with causes they care about. Our business hours are 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Friday.

WELCOME DANIELLE DELONG! WCF is delighted to announce its appoint of of Danielle Lipps DeLong as its new Operations Manager. In the Foundation’s efforts to support the Waccamaw Region’s nonprofit organizations, DeLong will provide day-to-day management of WCF’s administrative activities and support services to Foundation staff and Fundholders. DeLong comes to WCF from BHcare where she served as Development Coordinator. She also acted as Lead Training Coordinator for the West Virginia State Auditor’s Office ERP Project.? She and her husband Joseph live in Carolina Forest with their two daughters.

Erik Fromm, CFP?, CLTC? is a Financial Advisor and Vice President of Wealth Management for CSG Capital Partners of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER? Professional and holds a Certification in Long Term Care, helping clients navigate their financial, investment, insurance, tax, estate, and charitable planning needs. ? In addition to his professional responsibilities, Erik serves on the Litchfield Plantation HOA Board and the Men’s Connection ministry at All Saints Church.
