I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for the WAAW Foundation scholarship I received in 2024! This award has been a game-changer, allowing me to focus on my education without financial stress. I'm thankful for the Foundation's mission to promote STEM education among African girls and I'm honored to be a beneficiary of their efforts. This scholarship has not only supported my academic pursuits but has also inspired me to pay it forward and make a positive impact in my community!
Testimonial from 2024 WAAW Scholarship Recipient. I have also been able to reach out to my community through college to secondary schools STEM outreach programs where we raise awareness on STEM education and encourage pupils to pursue careers in STEM. This has allowed me to be able to inspire young girls and boys in my community and show them the possibilities that lie ahead of them. #waawfoundation #scholarship #girlsinstem

Happy International Women’s Day!? At WAAW Foundation, we celebrate the strength, achievements, and resilience of women worldwide. But today is more than just a celebration—it’s a call to action! This year, we’re emphasizing equity, inclusion, and empowerment, especially in STEM. Too many girls still face barriers that limit their opportunities to explore science, technology, engineering, and math. But together, we can change that. Every girl deserves the chance to dream, innovate, and lead. When we invest in women and girls, we create a lasting effect that transforms communities. We need your voice, your support, and your action. Whether through mentorship, advocacy, or simply sharing this message, let’s work together to reach the level we aspire, create opportunities, and inspire the next generation of female leaders. Join us in building a future where every girl has the tools and support to thrive in STEM. Because when women rise, the world rises with them! #iwd2025 #accelerateaction
