Last weekend at SXSW, VTProDesign and FX made an impact with the Alien Earth experience ??. Attendees explored the collision between our world and the Alien universe through various encounters. From deciphering the mystery behind the USS Maginot's mishap with a personalized ID badge to collaboratively managing a formidable Xenomorph within the aircraft's hull, participants were immersed in a unique adventure. Can't believe it's been 2 years since this behemoth of a project. Custom robotics for Beyonce's 2023 Renaissance World Tour. Music is a huge part of my life, and this was the opportunity of a lifetime. As 2024 winds down, we’re taking a moment to reflect—something we don’t always do enough of in the hustle of moving from one thing to the next. This year brought its share of challenges, wins, and truly inspiring experiences from New York, LA, Italy, the UK, Saudi Arabia and everywhere in between. We built new relationships, worked on projects that spanned the globe, and focused on the things that drive our passion. Along the way, we were reminded of how much is possible when great people come together. To our partners, collaborators, clients, and most importantly, our people—thank you. Here’s to the work we proudly created, the craft and talent that brought it to life, and to appreciating the process a little more in 2025.

Who says San Diego can’t get dark? At Comic Con this year, we brought a touch of Gotham to the sunny streets. The Iceberg Descent was both a teaser for The Penguin and an invitation to step into the gangster’s world through a grimy alley and rattling elevator. From the rain-soaked streets to the ominous flicker of old TVs, each step pulled visitors deeper into the underbelly of Gotham. The descent ended in a suspense-filled elevator ride, leaving guests right where we wanted them—in the depths of the Iceberg Lounge. #thepenguin #immersive

I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Junior Creative Programmer at VTProDesign! ?? It’s been an incredible journey, and I have met a ton of cool people on my way to this big milestone. I can't wait to share more about the crazy projects to come.

This year, Team Penguin brought Gotham City to San Diego Comic Con (#SDCC) through a multi-part activation to celebrate the upcoming HBO Original Series #ThePenguin. Working alongside so many incredible partners, the Digital Innovation team built "Iceberg Descent," an immersive entry-way experience filled with special effects, haptic technology, interactivity, and exclusive content that introduced visitors to the world of Gotham as they prepared to descend into a San Diego night club transformed into Gotham's iconic #IcebergLounge. This is my first experiential activation since I've joined the HBO team, and I feel so lucky to have played a role in bringing Gotham to life. Special shoutout to Originals Marketing, our amazingly talented friends at Buck and VTProDesign, and all of the other teams who played a role in making our wildest dreams happen. Our latest diorama with WhatsApp got me day dreaming, we've built a lot over the years, and what I love about them is that sense of an escape into a fantastical world ?? ?? There's a Where's Waldo sense of wonder as you peer into it finding the the itty bitty teeniest of delightful details ?? Often, we've integrated voice and motion so as you walk up and talk to the environment elements move and come to life in response to you via motors, lights and sound ? Playing with scale, we mix both physical and digital products into the scenes making them into mini monuments that are truly highlighted within a world ?? We've taken them around the world from larger trade show centerpieces to window displays and afterwards we've installed them into offices to live on #Diorama #ImmersiveExperiences #Mini #CES #F1 #WorldBuilding
