"Statistics and Stories: American Soldiers and the 1918 Flu" A student-created exhibit in Newman Library features posters researching Virginia soldiers who died from the 1918 flu epidemic during World War 1. The project, developed by students in the HIST 2624 class, examines quantitative military medical records and individual soldier stories.

"First Contact: A Densely Inhabited Land" brings the powerful artwork of Pamunkey artist Erick Krigsvold to Newman Library's 2nd floor. This special Indigenous Peoples Day exhibit is on display now through December. In collaboration with the Ati: Wa:oki Indigenous Community Center and The Native States Project
