Starting Monday, March 10 there will be no bus or light rail service until further notice as ATU has confirmed its intention to go on strike.

VTA is planning to have no service beginning Monday, March 10 after midnight due to the announcement of a strike by the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 265. Union announced at VTA‘s March 6 board meeting workers will walk off the job on March 10 at 12:01am or later. For more information visit vta.org. Hop on board with VTA’s Daycation, a travel training for seniors! ????? VTA recently hosted a Daycation for a group of seniors from Los Gatos-Saratoga Recreation where they learned ridership basics, safety tips, and more. After the training session, the seniors went on a field trip using our transit services to a local destination. The Daycation program is one of multiple efforts in VTA’s Senior Outreach program to empower seniors in the community to take transit for their traveling needs.
