VRPA is thrilled to support the Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) on the Mid County Parkway Construction Package No. 3 (MCP3) project! This major upgrade involves widening 8.6 miles of the Ramona Expressway, adding additional lanes, a new bridge over the San Jacinto River, and improved intersections with new traffic signals. VRPA is proud to assist Caltrans District 12 with the Investment Grade Traffic and Revenue Study for the I-5 Managed Lanes project in Orange County. This study will help guide future improvements on the I-5 from Redhill Ave to the Orange/LA County Line, spanning key cities like Tustin, Santa Ana, and Anaheim. VRPA’s responsibilities for this study included the following: - Various data collection tasks including obtaining data from the California Performance Measurement System (PeMS). - Quality control review of all existing traffic-related data and future traffic forecasts. - Providing assistance in sampling, acquiring, and processing mailing addresses, and other tasks related to the collection of the survey and interpretation of the results. - Providing text, tables, and graphics for selected sections of the draft and final reports. - Technical and editorial quality control review of the entire report. - Assistance in various miscellaneous tasks related to land use forecasting, transportation planning, and traffic engineering. #VRPATechnologies #Caltrans #TrafficEngineering #OrangeCounty

Exploring Microtransit for Fresno County! The Fresno County Regional Microtransit Feasibility Study offers a blueprint for potential microtransit services that could make getting around Fresno County easier, faster, and more accessible. Through extensive analysis, this study helps Fresno Council of Governments (Fresno COG) and local transit providers explore new, efficient service options that reduce wait times and improve access for underserved areas. Public outreach services for this study was led by VRPA Technologies, in coordination with Via Mobility, LLC, and Fresno COG staff.
