Our story dates back to 1956, when families of individuals with disabilities and local manufacturers knew two things; individuals with disabilities were ready and capable to enter the workforce, and there was an overwhelming need for contract packaging services in the Fox Cities area. VPI was established, as a solution to meet both needs. The concept of meeting community needs has guided us in becoming the successful 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that we are today. By providing efficient contract packaging and production services to private industry, with an integrated workforce, VPI has been able to deliver community programing and services to support the changing needs of community members with disabilities or disadvantages. Valley Packaging is the result of a partnership created more than 60 years ago with parents of people with disabilities, local manufacturers, and human service providers. By consistently meeting clients’ and customers’ needs, Valley Packaging has grown into the successful service organization it is today with: over 800,000 sq. ft. of customizable production and employment skills training spaces, large isolated packaging areas, capacity available for growth, high-speed equipment, and a uniquely blended workforce that integrates hundreds of individuals with disabilities with technically trained production workers.

It’s National Disability Employment Awareness Month! This month, we’re celebrating our amazing clients and their accomplishments in the workplace. Meet Porsche, she was part of our School District Transition Services with the Neenah Joint School District. Porsche is a Donation Attendant at AbleLight Thrift Shop - Neenah, where she sorts items, untangles jewelry, affixes price tags, and straightens hangers. Recently, she took on a new challenge learning how to use the floor scrubber! ?? With the support of her mentor, who used modeling and verbal prompts, Porsche overcame her initial nerves. Her mentor said, "Porsche quickly mastered the machine, learning to control it confidently." Now, Porsche operates the floor scrubber all on her own and is excited to add this new skill to her role! We’re so proud of Porsche and her hard work! ??

It's National Disability Employment Awareness Month! This month, we’re celebrating some of our incredible clients and their achievements in the workplace. First up, meet Lucas! Lucas began his journey in our School District Transition Services with the Neenah School District and has been part of the Culver's team in Neenah since November 2022. ?? He shines at delivering orders in the drive-thru and dining room, always with a smile! His positive attitude doesn't go unnoticed, customers love him, and he’s even earned some well-deserved tips. While challenges can be frustrating, Lucas has shown amazing growth and perseverance with the support of his Community Employment Mentor. We’re so proud of Lucas! ??
