Thank you to everyone who participated in the Merck Digital Sciences Studio (MDSS) Open House event at the Rahway campus earlier this week! It was a fantastic event showcasing promising startups that investors, Merck Global Health Innovation Fund, McKesson Ventures and Northpond Ventures, have invested in to advance digital enablement in the drug development and discovery space. We had a wonderful panel discussion moderated by Andrew Latham, Merck Corporate Business Development & Licensing, with Ryan Henrici MD PhD from BigHat Biosciences, Reg Seeto from Scipher Medicine and Fatima Sabar from Bluenote. The conversation gave a glimpse into cutting edge scientific enabling technologies and how to best partner with pharma. This was followed by pitches and a poster session from each of the startups in the MDSS program including Augment Biologics, Esya Labs, Hebbian Bio, ImYoo, Inaedis, Inc., ModernVivo, Nine Diagnostics, Potato AI, ReSync Bio, UbiquiTx, Inc. and Voyant Bio. Thank you also to our partners, the New Jersey Innovation Institute, especially Ahmet Hamdi C. and Patrick Cooke, PhD, for their endless help and support in organizing such an impactful event!
