Exciting news from our portfolio company Arbor! Arbor, founded by SpaceX veterans, has signed a significant carbon offtake agreement with Microsoft for 25,000 tons of carbon removal, starting with 5,000 tons annually in 2027. Inspired by aerospace engineering principles, Arbor's novel technology uses high-temperature, high-pressure oxygen combustion to convert organic waste into capturable CO2 while generating base load electricity. Arbor's first commercial plant is on track to produce 5 MW of carbon-negative power, scaling to 100 MW by 2030. At Voyager Ventures, we're proud to support Arbor's mission to remove 2 million tons of carbon annually by 2030 while generating electricity as a valuable co-product. This Microsoft partnership highlights Arbor's potential to disrupt power markets with its carbon-negative electricity production.
