01.) Search Everywhere Optimization (SEO): Companies will optimize for all platforms, not just Google. With over 46 billion daily searches happening across platforms, Google leads with 5.5 billion searches but only holds 18% of the market share.
02.) The Rise of Micro-Influencers: Paying influencers with millions of followers is proving ineffective, with a negative ROI of -12.04%. On the flip side, influencers with fewer than 100,000 followers boast a 36.71% ROI thanks to their loyal, engaged communities.
03.) Diversifying Content Creation: While video and text dominate, formats like webinars, case studies, live streams, and newsletters are driving higher ROI.
04.) AI Optimization is a Must: With 30% of people using AI platforms like ChatGPT for answers (up from nearly 0% in 2020), marketers need to ensure their content ranks well on these tools.
05.) Content Purpose Shift: It’s not just about likes and engagement anymore. Long-form videos and case studies drive conversions, while podcasts and short-form videos are key for awareness.
I found the influencer marketing point especially interesting. Brands are embracing micro and nano influencers because they foster loyal communities, not just followers.
