We had a blast showing off the VotingWorks voting system at the National Association of Secretaries of State conference and the National Association of State Election Directors this past week. With the help of election administrators and voters around the country, we've built a voting system everyone can trust, because it's: ?? open-source – so everyone can see how ballots are counted ? simple and safe – so you can run an election with peace of mind that errors will be detected and remedied early ?? secure – strong system integrity, and not just because we say so, because we've been vetted by third-party experts.

We got so much out of our collaboration with Pump Studios. And we're incredibly proud of the result.
VotingWorks mission is to make election technology everyone can trust through transparency, simplicity, and security. Last year, we supported VotingWorks in the development of their open-source voting system. We are proud to share the outcome, coming soon to an election near you! #engineering #voting #election #vote #mechanicalengineering #productdesign

At VotingWorks, we want to give every American the chance to vote using technology everyone can trust. So we spent the past 6 years in research and development. We collected extensive input from election administrators and voters across the country during real-world pilot elections. And we are now incredibly proud to launch our voting system, which we simply call VotingWorks. VotingWorks is: - Transparent for real, with source code and documentation freely available so everyone can see how votes are tabulated. No other vendor comes close. ? - Designed to the latest federal standard and already in testing with the Election Assistance Commission. ? - Paper-based and fully auditable. ? - Built with industry-leading data authentication and tamper evidence to guarantee system integrity. - Particularly easy to use by voters and election administrators. This Thanksgiving, we're thankful for election administrators around the country who work to make every vote count. At VotingWorks, we aim to make voting equipment that lives up to the dedication and transparency of our incredible election administrators. https://lnkd.in/e3s5rFaF

We're proud to work with the great folks at Pump Studios on a voting machine everyone can trust!
VotingWorks mission is to make election technology everyone can trust through transparency, simplicity, and security. Last year, we supported VotingWorks deploying their current generation of devices. This coming year, we are excited to see the latest generation of precinct scanner launch. Streamlined assembly, better hardware, improved usability. Stay tuned! (and go vote!) #engineering #voting #earlyvoting #vote #election

It's beginning to look a lot like .... election season! Actually it's been election season for a while. Voters in a number of states are already casting ballots for the November 5th election! Maybe you're interested in how voting works, the technology behind it all? Well, we've got a podcast for you. Short episodes, two of them out already: the Secret Ballot, and Voting Machines. https://how.voting.works/

Ben Adida was invited to present at the Institute for Democracy, Journalism, and Citizenship at Syracuse University DC, to talk about building a voting machine everyone can trust, and to demo our latest precinct tabulator. Great group of people, fantastic discussion, especially about the importance of democracy and the public's trust in our elections

This coming election, two states will use open-source voting machines: New Hampshire and Missisippi. Mississippi is where we started our work, and we're proud to power elections that everyone can trust thanks to the transparency of our machines. Over the next few years, we should really stop counting votes with secret software. https://lnkd.in/giudmXQR
