Here’s what we would say on the big stage: “In honor of Women’s History Month, let’s give a standing ovation to the #fearless girls and women who paved the way - securing our right to VOTE, own property, access education, lead in the workplace, and make decisions about our health and bodies. Because of them, we stand on a stage they built. But the fight isn’t over. Now, it’s our turn to take the baton and push forward for equal pay, constitutionally protected healthcare, representation in government, and access to education. The stage is set. The spotlight is on us. It’s time for us to create art and make history ourselves.” Who does your speech thank? As artists, we’ve never believed we could only paint or create with red and blue. For so many of us, creativity is the art of combining every color—a vibrant tapestry where differences come together to form something extraordinary. On this historic Inauguration Day, we recognize that emotions are deeply varied—some are celebrating with joy, while others feel the weight of despair. But as a bipartisan organization, our shared commitment rises above the divide. Today, we invite everyone to focus on what unites us: HOPE. ?Hope that our country can find common ground. ?Hope to paint a world where inclusivity is the norm, not the exception. ?Hope for a democracy that truly represents us all. ?Hope for our neighbors, for our communities, for our daughters. ?And most importantly, hope for this generation of women and girls: that they will be educated, represented, fairly compensated, and have equal access to healthcare.
