Stop scrolling if you are into production engineering! Look at these new automated transporters powered by AI and computer vision. “The solution uses deep learning algorithms to identify humans, robots, and other traffic, which are then used for navigating the transporters in the factory. Since the navigation and intelligence is located outside the robots, the transporters themselves are very simple and easy to use,” says Kristofer Bengtsson, Senior Researcher Digital Operations. This user-friendly approach is a game-changer. The transporters bring affordability and simplicity to our industry and are flexible enough to meet our evolving production environment.

Our Chief Sustainability Officer Karin Svensson recflects on COP29 Azerbaijan: "After three intense days at COP29 in Baku, these are my key takeaways: ?? A lot of time is spent discussing the cost of taking action, but not enough time is spent on the cost of inaction. We need to act now. ?? Improved coordination and enhanced dialogue between policymakers and the private sector are essential. Policymakers set the frameworks, but the private sector must implement them. ?? Companies like the Volvo Group, which have the right solutions in place to transform, along with flexibility and speed, will emerge as the real winners when the transformation accelerates. The question is not whether the transition will happen; the question is just when."
