On Saturday, we launched our 2025 Volvo Accelerator Program, aimed at preparing graduating seniors to join the Volvo team following graduation. Students went behind the scenes to see what it’s like to work at Volvo Cars Charleston and heard first hand experiences from 2024 Volvo Accelerator graduates. Throughout the day, participants networked, tested their skills in the training dojo and focused on building a foundation for a successful automotive career. Love was in the air this Valentine's Day. We invited teachers from R.B. Stall High School to fall in love with manufacturing by experiencing firsthand what it takes to embark on a career in automotive. Educators learned about standardized work, the importance of problem solving and even tested their skills on a simulated assembly line. Did they fall in love with manufacturing? Only time will tell! In the meantime, we’re excited to keep spreading the love for advanced manufacturing!

Meet Vedika! Originally from Maharashtra, India, she made the leap to the USA in 2021 to pursue her Master’s in Industrial & Systems Engineering at Rutgers University. After graduating in May 2024, she joined the Volvo Cars Global Graduate Program, combining her passion for innovation, sustainability, and a global career. The program’s international nature, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on projects align perfectly with her goal to make a real impact in the automotive industry! Meet Neehar. Originally from Bangkok, Thailand, Neehar joined the Global Graduate Program at Volvo Cars because of the opportunity to apply his knowledge across different departments while learning about the business. Neehar’s first rotation is in Charleston, where he works in Paint Shop. As part of the program, he’s already spent time in Sweden with his international cohort and will be heading back this month.
