On #WorldWaterDay, VOA is proud to celebrate our partnerships with Niagara Bottling and Niagara Conservation! ?? From providing drinkable water after a hurricane to furnishing our affordable housing programs with the latest and greatest appliances, thank you for helping us serve people in need across the country.

Many of our local CEOs gathered in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida last week for a meeting on programmatic planning and branding strategy, in addition to celebrating some well-deserved retirements. Special thanks to Janet Stringfellow and her dedicated Volunteers of America of Florida, Inc. team for their generous hospitality throughout the week.

Stop and smell the roses on National Flower Day! ?? VOA and Crayola Flowers have teamed up to spread kindness and give back to the community. With each purchase, a portion of the proceeds will go directly towards our programs and services.

We have done it again!?? VOA has been awarded the astounding achievement and named one of the Great Places to Work for the sixth year in a row. This milestone is a testament to our shared commitment of fostering a supportive and inspiring work environment for our employees. Through life’s challenges, Lyndon remains a team player and coach at heart. Diagnosed with down syndrome, arrhythmia, and other disabilities, Lyndon has found a sense of belonging through the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services at Volunteers of America-Texas. Sports have always been Lyndon’s safe space, but after his mother passed away from COVID-19, he found a renewed sense of camaraderie on a team. What a fantastic week it has been celebrating Volunteers of America’s 129th birthday! Kicking off the week was the Founders Day Worship Service hosted by Volunteers of America Colorado. The entire VOA network across the nation joined in on the fun and received VOA “birthday boxes” filled with VOA branded party supplies and customized candy. We are so grateful to all the changemakers at VOA who have served our communities for 129 years! Cheers to the next 129! ???
