WHAT AN AWESOME SATURDAY! We had a great time interacting with our volunteers in Jefferson and Lewis Counties over the weekend as we hosted our annual volunteer training. It was an opportunity to break bread with the amazing people who make our mission possible. We also had the opportunity that day to talk about VTC when we were guests during the WPBS-TV Holiday Auction. It was a pretty fulfilling day ?? Have a great week, everyone!

Our hearts go out to the family of Dani Ganter, who passed away Nov. 18. Dani was the wife of Howie Ganter, a past president of the VTC Board of Directors and longtime board member. The two have been dedicated supporters of our mission for many years. Calling hours will be this Friday, Nov. 22, from 5 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 23, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home in Dexter. A funeral service will immediately follow on Saturday. We thank those who have served and those who continue to serve as we mark this Veterans Day. Did you know one-third of those we transport are veterans or family members of veterans? We’re proud to be here for them and for all people facing transportation challenges. And we’re here thanks to the generosity of people like you. Thank you!
