Today, a welcoming ceremony at Riverside City Hall celebrated Voltu’s arrival as a key addition to the county’s and city’s growing technology hub. Riverside’s thriving ecosystem, with access to a robust talent pipeline, four higher education institutions, and the California Air Resources Board’s Southern California headquarters, provides the perfect foundation for Voltu’s innovative endeavors. ? As part of the Clean Air Act, the EPA is phasing in new emissions regulations for light- and medium-duty vehicles to reduce greenhouse gases and pollutants, covering model years 2027 through 2032. Voltu stands out in the market as the only company capable of electrifying Class 3 commercial trucks across light-, medium-, and heavy-duty applications. Their cutting-edge electric batteries are half the size and weight of other options, offering a 350-mile range and recharging in just 40 minutes, and have zero emissions—an impressive advancement in sustainable transportation technology. ?
