As part of our FTA support for MBTA Safety Management Inspections, our team recently participated in a safety audit verification, conducted west of the Warren Street station adjacent to a utility construction site with flagging crew's setup to ensure safety. The audit included observation of personal protective equipment requirements and flagging, including the proper setup and authorization of the flag site. We were honored that Deputy Secretary Polly Trottenberg recently joined us and U.S. DOT Region 1 staff for a Town Hall at our Kendall Square campus. More than 300 U.S. DOT staff members joined this hybrid conversation where she answered staff questions, followed by a tour of our building, meetings with senior staff, and demonstrations of our Human Factors, QUIET, and NextGen labs. The Deputy Secretary was in town for the All Wheels Up Global Forum, held at our conference center, focused on accessibility in transportation, particularly air travel.
