This amazing service helps you gather stories from your loved ones. It gets the family talking, which is priceless. The best is when you use old photos, like this school ID photo of my mom. We just celebrated our first 10 years! There is so much to do in the next 10...
Ten years ago, on 4/13, 2014, I publically launched Volition Project! I had made a New Year’s resolution to start doing some work on my own, focused on the purpose of helping brands to better empower their customers. The roadmap from 1/1 to 4/13 went like this: - I basically had my brand purpose and positioning defined already. An early mantra was, “Brands stand out when they stand up for people.” - It took the better part of 2 months to develop a name that had available urls and low trademark risk. - 3/6: Registered the url and started fiddling around with Squarespace. - 3/7: With online real estate secured, I registered for my EIN and LLC in Massachusetts (proud to be a MA business!). - I worked on the website and made it public Sunday, 4/13. The next day, Monday, was our first official “business day”. Today is the first business day of our second decade! We definitely have goals. More on that later.
