We are excited to share the successful completion of the Mullin Transportation Design Center (MTDC) by Darren Johnstone Architects, a project that showcases the power of adaptive reuse. This transformation illustrates how existing spaces can be reimagined to serve new purposes, and stands to demonstrate the ability of good design to contribute positively to our planet- now and for future generations. Vode's lighting solutions were integral to this project, celebrating the blend of old and new by accentuating the cavernous ceilings and brutalist finishes. These elements will now be the backdrop for the future of vehicular design, all while illuminated by Vode. We had such an overwhelmingly positive response to our sketch competition held during Light! Design Expo 2024! We asked our participants to apply our incoming product addition to a space through sketching, and boy, did each entrant bring the heat! This is why we’re SO happy to announce two winners! ????? We fell in love with Madden Kuljis' approach to soft and dreamy sleep-scape illumination, and Gorvee Karnany's unique ability to blend linear architectural elements like louvres with our seamless, smooth lines of light!
