Great job Chris! One of the amazing people at CareFlite.
??A huge congratulations to our very own 911 dispatcher Chris Gaines?? Chris has been awarded for his amazing performance in providing life-saving CPR instructions over the phone, helping save the life of a pediatric patient. Thanks to his guidance, the patient had a pulse upon arrival at the hospital. Great job Chris! A powerful reminder “EMS cannot save someone whose dispatch has not made savable”-Julie Buckingham.

Celebrating Resilience and Preparedness at Acute Rescue and Transport (ART) ? On October 21, 2024, one of VLI Tech, Inc’s valued private ambulance providers, Acute Rescue and Transport (ART) in Idaho, faced a significant challenge: an arson attack on their Pocatello station. ART, with four locations and a range of services from non-medical to air medical transport, responded to this crisis with incredible agility, maintaining their service and dedication to their community without interruption. ? Thanks to the foresight of ART owner, Wesly Anderson, security cameras were installed both inside and outside the station. These precautions allowed him to view critical footage remotely, capturing images of the suspected individual who entered the unoccupied station illegally. The video evidence, which showed smoke beginning to emerge shortly after the person exited the building, enabled Wes to act quickly. He shared these images with the responding firefighters, who then notified law enforcement. ? While the incident resulted in one rig being temporarily taken out of service, three others were fortunately out on calls, and most importantly, no one was injured. In a stroke of fortunate timing, a local fire department was conducting training nearby and responded immediately, keeping the fire damage contained. ? Wes and his leadership team, including Gabe Dutton, swiftly secured a backup location, enabling ART crews to continue their work without missing a beat. This level of preparedness and commitment to uninterrupted service exemplifies their dedication to the community they serve. ? We at VLI Tech are incredibly proud to partner with Acute Rescue and Transport, and we are inspired by their resilience and proactive planning in the face of adversity.
