Details matter.
It's silly but it's never the big things that you remember. It's all the small things (na na na na na na na na na na) that stand out.
?? Someone remembering your name
?? A birthday text from someone you haven't spoke to in a while
?? Hearing one of your favorite songs somewhere unexpected
When it comes to brand those little moments are usually found in icons, illustrations, and copy. Subtle winks and small touches that feel like they were made just for you.
But sometimes they're found somewhere completely unexpected.
This is my wife's business card
? The branding is sick
? The shape is unique
? The card is super clean
When she hands it out, people love it. But you know what people comment on the most?
The rubber band!
There's nothing special about the rubber band. It's just something that held some artichoke together but it's absolutely perfect for her brand.
We've spent dozens of hours building out her brand and if we had a million more hours we still would've never come up with the band on our own.
And that's what makes it great.
Sometimes the details come from the most unexpected places and those are the ones to pay attention to because those are the ones no one else will have thought of either.
