Lee has been out and about visiting clients and catching up with candidates over the last few weeks, and the key takeaway is - everyone is waiting. ? Many projects are lined up but still sitting in approval limbo. Until they get the green light, studios remain hesitant to commit to new hires. ? As a result, there are still plenty of great candidates on the market, ready to jump in when things pick up. ? Interior designers continue to be in demand. Studios seem to have enough work to keep things ticking over but are always on the lookout for top talent. ? When things do move, it is going to happen fast. Studios will need to scale up quickly, and candidates will need to be ready to act. Lee reckons it will either be a waiting game or a non-stop hiring frenzy - no in-between!
