Life Community Outreach just launched their Vivery Find Food Map - https://lnkd.in/gfisMUSK. Together, these incredible food banks are making a huge impact, serving countless families across North Texas with food for today and hope for tomorrow. What makes this new map a game changer? ?? ? Helps neighbors find food close to home by filtering for days, times, and services. ? It’s user-friendly and available in 100 languages. ? Easily accessible on mobile phones. ? Includes a free text messaging feature for instant communication. As Rob Dolby, Senior Director of Community Partner Relations shared, “The Vivery Find Food Map is an invaluable resource for our vulnerable neighbors. With its simplicity and accessibility, we’re making food access easier than ever. Not only does this map empower our communities, but it also helps pantries easily keep their information accurate, so neighbors know exactly what to expect when they arrive at the pantry. Every day, Vivery transforms lives ? ? In a year of unprecedented natural disasters, Vivery has quickly become a ?????????????? ???????????????????? for vulnerable communities to access ?????????????????? ??????????????????.? ? Hard-working single moms are ?????????????? ???????????????????? ???????? at a time and place that fits their schedule.? ? Food pantries are sending ???????????? ???????????? about food emergencies, such as an unplanned distribution of frozen meat when a freezer broke down.? ? In Chicago, neighbors with disabilities are receiving i??-???????? ???????????????????? ???? ???????? ?????? ??????????????, while those with chronic conditions are ?????????????????? ?????????????????? ???????????????? ??????????????????. Just in time for the busy holiday season, we welcome two new food banks from opposite coasts to the Vivery community. ?? In California, Second Harvest of the Greater Valley just launched their Vivery find food map to help neighbors across San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties find food nearby at one of their 90 agency partners' local pantries. Each month, they help 35K+ individuals in need across the 8 counties they serve. https://lnkd.in/g_q-YF8S) In Vermont, where 2 in 5 people are food insecure, Vermont Foodbank, the state’s largest hunger-relief organization provides 12 million pounds of food annually through a network of more than 300 community partners.
