We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our corporate team. Job Summary The Accounting Manager will be overseeing the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely preparation of financial reports, managing reconciliations, and enhancing our accounting practices. Your expertise will support our commitment to financial excellence and operational efficiency. Job Responsibilities ? Oversee the preparation and accuracy of regular financial reports, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. ? Conduct thorough reviews of financial documentation, including balance sheets, income statements, and general ledger accounts. ? Prepare and review bank reconciliations and various balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness. ? Ensure accurate recording and consolidation of intercompany transactions. ? Monitor and manage financial statements regularly, addressing any issues with senior leadership as needed. ? Supervise monthly closing activities, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. ? Oversee the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, preparation of journal entries, and generation of financial statements. ? Establish and refine company accounting policies, implementing best practices for enhanced reporting and process efficiency. ? Collaborate with senior management to streamline and expedite the month-end closing cycle. ? Review and correct account reconciliations, prepare and post journal entries, and maintain updated supporting schedules. ? Take ownership of control processes and coordinate touchpoints with internal and external auditors. Education and Experience ? Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration. ? Minimum of 5 years of relevant general accounting and financial reporting experience. ? Public accounting experience or experience in corporate accounting and/or finance departments. ? CPA designation preferred, but not required. ? Experience in Healthcare is preferred. In this role, you will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our wellness center, focusing on developing and implementing activities and programs designed to enhance the well-being, entertainment, and social engagement of our community members. Job Responsibilities ???Develop and implement a diverse range of wellness and entertainment programs tailored to the unique needs and interests of the members. ???Organize and facilitate group activities, exercise classes, cultural events, and recreational programs to promote physical health and social engagement. ???Directly supervise wellness center attendant, including activity coordinators and support personnel, ensuring a cohesive and supportive team environment. ???Conduct individual assessments of seniors' wellness needs, preferences, and limitations to customize programs and activities accordingly. ???Assist in the development and management of the wellness center budget, ensuring efficient use of resources for optimal program outcomes. ???Actively engage with senior community members, solicit feedback, and adjust programs to meet evolving needs and preferences. ???Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, program outcomes, and individual progress for reporting and evaluation purposes. ???Ensure compliance with safety regulations and create a safe and accessible environment for seniors with varying levels of mobility and health conditions. ???Handle members' food and keep up-to-date records of assistance to ensure an adequate number of snacks and refreshments are available. ???Ensure the food is in good condition, adhering to hygiene and safety standards Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies ???Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and interact with seniors. ???Creativity and innovation in program development to cater to diverse senior interests. ???Excellent communication skills for engaging with seniors, their families, and the broader community. ???Ability to conduct individual wellness assessments and adapt programs to meet individual needs. ???Budget management skills and familiarity with financial reporting. ???Knowledge of safety regulations and accessibility considerations for seniors. The Benefit Coordinator will play a crucial role in achieving our enrollment growth objectives, which includes managing enrollment and eligibility for various insurance programs such as HMO Medicare, Medicaid, and marketplace insurances. In this role, you will help guide patients through the insurance process and represent VivaMas Health Services at our medical centers. Job Responsibilities ???Responsible for professionally representing Vivamas Health in our medical centers; provides center tours. ????Identify any prospects/member's needs and clearly explain how our services can meet those needs and offer tailored solutions. ???Collaborates with the community outreach Team on center and community activities events (as needed). ???Collaborates and maintains a healthy relationship with Health plans Agents and Brokers groups. ???Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual enrollment goals and growth targets, as established by management. ???Performs Insurance Verification of benefit coverage on all of patient's insurance plans for each service being provided. ???Delivers presentations, attends meetings, and distributes educational materials to both members and potential members. ???Assists with enrollment incoming calls and assist future members or current members with health access related questions. ???Maintains lines of communication and follow up with current members to assure there is no loss of benefit coverage.
