At The Vitruvian Group, we provide total production facility design packages and consulting services to allow you to build your surface production facilities in the most timely and cost-effective manner possible. Our facility design approach is quite unique within the industry. We implement standard manufacturing, standardization and modularization principles to design modular facilities to reduce; build cost, build time, vented emissions, and personnel exposure. These facilities can be scaled up or down to your needs and/or process conditions without starting from scratch each time. We rely on simplified ‘pre-fabrication’ techniques to utilize your own construction vendors to create piping systems without the significant cost of fully-skidded equipment. Having full 3D models and construction packages to convey the exact facility design prior to build allows for fixed-cost labor bidding, further reducing cost over T&M construction bids, while also allowing your construction vendors to get a ‘jump start’ on construction through pre-fabrication opportunities before the drilling rig ever leaves the site. With supply chains having an ever-increasing impact on the industry, ‘standardization’ of your base facility design is good business, as it allows you to project long-lead-time components out well beyond a few facility builds. With the ‘modular’ facility design approach, we are so efficient in our process that we price our final deliverables on a fixed-cost-per-well approach. You know the cost of our services before we start… every time. This cost-per-well can often be as low as a few flanged valves per well equivalent cost. Everything we include in our new facility design construction packages is there for a reason… no fluff. T&M design firms make money off deliverables you don’t need and get to charge you more for their own mistakes and inefficiencies. What elevates our 3D and increases BOM accuracy? We use actual part files from the manufacturers (Kimray, Balon, Bonney Forge, etc.) We also visually identify flange rating specs via 3D banding (blue band = ANSI 150), and we even identify suggested field cuts/welds (orange band) for our isometric drawings.
