Pixels aren't enough for Real Design.
Pixels aren't enough. I'm seeing lot of buzz around "Generative Design" as a single group of techniques. First, what matters —?for the Built World —?is to build spaces for people while generating revenue. Design is just a tool to achieve clarity, reduce risks and align stakeholders. Whatever better technique that achieves the job, use it! Current Diffusion models won't give you measurable outputs based on constraints. Brings a vision, but not clarity. No structure at all. Space-aware Large Language Models are able to tackle this issue. Vitrus next major release in October 3rd.

Making LLMs understand space is a core mission for our company. We believed in leveraging the human knowledge already embedded in these large foundational models to help re-designing and build our physical space. As we face bigger pressures to adapt to the environmental and urban changes. We are publishing this early work next week within our platform (https://vitrus.com) How we did it? Using a mix of human created and synthetically annotated datasets we fine tuned a few AI models, ranging from OpenAI GPT 3.5, Mistral AI 7B and other open source models. How to use it? Public early next week, first comments will get the link earlier! What is next? We are now exploring the creation of new models and how to improve the output quality with only LLMs (no other type of AI in the process).
