Vitesse Automation

It's fortunate we don't have to physically source and install the hundreds of models of controllers that are supported by Vitesse. This week is an interesting milestone for our CICD pipeline as we are bringing up the second Gateway test bench that checks the health of the Vitesse Core engine and the Vitesse Gateway app, by validating the connectivity with the PLCs used by our customers. Fun stuff: all PLCs have the ability to start and stop the conveyor, which status and speed are measured by the Vitesse controller, which is also checked as a source from the Gateway. This is the last step of our CICD pipeline, which gives us a high level of confidence that no regression makes its way into our code base. Next step is to automate all of it - which will be super easy with Vitesse.

What should we expect from our hands-on operations leaders? They get things done, no matter what. We have an admirable example of this at Vitesse Automation with our director of operations for Europe, Olivier Chevance and his determination to help: Olivier and his friend Frederic drove an ambulance from France to Ukraine to deliver it - amongst other critically needed supplies, to help civilians face the war. ?????????? This one week trip including deliveries to Kiev and Lviv isn’t without a few risks and will save lives. That’s what we can call #grit and #integrity.
