This summer, Rincon proudly participated in the Environmental, Engineering, and Planning Internship and Charrette (EEPIC). As part of the EEPIC experience, 10 bright interns from six top firms (Rincon, Ascent, Environmental Science Associates, Dudek, Fehr & Peers, and PlaceWorks) came together in a Charrette to tackle real-world environmental challenges. Over two weeks, these emerging professionals collaborated in person to create a conceptual plan for enhancing a conservation site in the City of Elk Grove. Their work culminated in a dynamic presentation to city officials, showcasing innovative solutions in land use, resource management, and community engagement. Rincon is committed to fostering diversity and growth within the environmental and planning sectors, and this year’s EEPIC program was a testament to that mission. The hands-on experience, networking, and mentorship provided through EEPIC are key to shaping the next generation of environmental leaders.
