Vital Investment Management (VIM) is a local, independently owned, fee-only Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm. Unlike Broker / Dealers, Vital Investment Management does not make commissions for selling securities. We are required to meet the fiduciary standard - to act in the best interests of our clients at all times. Our compensation is disclosed in a signed advisor-client agreement based on a percentage of the assets we manage for you. It’s a win-win situation for the client and advisor; we both want your assets to grow. We’re in the business of providing the best advice, not selling securities. When selecting a financial advisor it’s important to know whom your advisor works for and how they’re compensated. Brokers are typically an employee or contractor of a brokerage firm. These brokers are most often compensated via commissions on the products they sell and are not required to disclose their compensation. Commission-based products create a conflict of interest between broker and client, limit future investment choices to that group of investment products, and may impose penalties if sold during a penalty period of up to seven years or more. Retirement projections and financial planning ? 401k investments and rollover assistance ? Investment Committee formulates and monitors ongoing investment strategies ? Strategic (long-term bond-stock parameters) and tactical (overweight bonds or stocks based on 3-6 month market outlook) portfolio management ? Tactical adjustments are made using inputs from Ned Davis Research and other institutional research firms ? Extensive utilization of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) We work directly with each client to tailor appropriate asset allocations given their risk tolerance and economic / market trends.
