Vital Farms is proud to have been B Corp Certified for the past 10 years, beginning in 2015 and we are dedicated to using our business as a force for good. But what does that mean, exactly? As a B Corp Certified company, we undergo an evaluation every three years, covering the following impact areas:?governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. We continue to be certified because we are committed to raising the standards of the food industry with the core belief that good eggs don't come from taking shortcuts. For us, that means, first and foremost, our girls deserve and get the very best: free access to roam on pasture outside all day, every day, and live the life they deserve. In fact, each girl gets at least 108 square feet all to herself to roam free. We partner with farmers who care for their girls and are passionate about animal welfare. In turn, they're compensated fairly and given hands-on, in-person support from our Farm Support team. We also strive to be a consistent and reliable partner to our suppliers, communities, the environment, and even you, our consumers! Looking for answers about what's happening in the egg industry right now? This week, our CEO, Russell Diez-Canseco, joined Masters of Scale Rapid Response to give it to you straight. In their latest episode, "Russell shares how the brand’s relationship with farmers, transparency with customers, and unique business model has allowed the company to turn crisis into opportunity.”? ? Listen to the full conversation here: https://lnkd.in/gcqeWJSh
The price of eggs has become a hot topic of conversation in grocery store aisles across the country. But while prices continue to skyrocket, Vital Farms CEO Russell Diez-Canseco is playing the long game. Russell doesn't see the value in chasing price wars — he instead places his focus on long-term relationships with smaller family farms and adjusting pay on input costs to build trust and stability with his partners. By thinking long-term and not reacting to market spikes, Vital Farms ensures that they're not just selling eggs — but strengthening the supply chain. #RapidResponse #VitalFarms #AvianFlu #Sustainability #FoodIndustry #EthicalBusiness

Ever wandered down the egg aisle to pick up some eggs and were greeted with a variety of Vital Farms cartons and wondered: what's the difference ???? We're here to break it down for you today! ALL of our eggs are pasture-raised from family farms where the hens have the freedom to forage outdoors year-round ?? Our farmers avoid any non-organic herbicides or pesticides on all of our family farms. The girls' foraging naturally maintains the land. Check out each slide for the key differences in each variety.
