I cannot express how overwhelmed with gratitude the Vista Village team is for the Columbus community. The generosity of so many people who helped us collect furnishings over the last month, and the number of people who showed up to help us furnish 41 tiny homes on a Saturday morning (and a Buckeye game day, no less), was nothing short of incredible. To everyone who shared our Amazon wish list with others, purchased items (filling my garage from floor to ceiling three times over!), and volunteered their time to help decorate homes and assemble furniture this past Saturday, thank you. Once again, Columbus stepped up in a huge way, and we are honored to have such a strong community standing with us as we prepare for the next chapter. A huge shoutout to some amazing companies who have recently supported Vista Village in big ways! First, a BIG (??) thank you to the Big Lots Foundation (Big Lots) for all their support. Not only did they sponsor a tiny home, but they also donated beautiful furnishings, ensuring each house feels like a true home for future residents. We also extend a heartfelt thank you to Park National Bank for sending wonderful volunteers to help pick up the first load of furnishings from Big Lots and deliver them to the Village. Lastly, thank you to E.E. Ward Moving & Storage Co. for providing a moving truck and hard-working movers who made this experience a piece of cake! #BigLotsCares
