My journey has been a dynamic blend of strategic planning, execution, and collaboration, all aimed at leveraging AI and analytics to revolutionize our processes. Working alongside our talented team and under the supportive leadership of Patrick Johnston, our president at Vista Research, has been an incredible experience. Tackling Market Survey Challenges One of my main objectives has been to address the growing challenge of fraudulent and dishonest survey responses. Using advanced AI and predictive modeling, we have been developing innovative solutions to improve data integrity and accuracy. Our team has focused on creating models that detect anomalies and provide actionable insights to enhance survey methodologies. ? ?? Innovating with Streamlit and Visualizations To make data more accessible and insightful, we developed a Streamlit application. This user-friendly tool will allow stakeholders to visualize key metrics and trends in real-time, simplifying complex data and facilitating strategic decision-making. By presenting data in an interactive format, we're enhancing the way insights are communicated and understood. ? ?? Driving Engagement In our quest to boost client engagement, we're automating our newsletter services to strengthen marketing efforts. This initiative aims to deliver targeted and personalized content to various customer segments, fostering deeper connections and driving meaningful interactions. ? ?? Future Directions Looking ahead, we're excited to develop LLM models for sentiment analysis and create custom GPTs to further streamline our processes. We're also planning to enhance our use of Tableau for data visualization to support decision-making. With today’s emphasis on data-driven decision-making, businesses need to avoid the extremes of blindly accepting their data or completely dismissing it. A recent article in the Harvard Business Review* warns businesses to be careful and avoid these two situations. Only through careful analyses and thoughtful conversations can more balanced and effective outcomes be realized. ?????????????? ???? ??????????: ? Avoid the extremes of blind acceptance and complete dismissal ? Have thoughtful discussions to evaluate the data and its implications ? Consider the internal and external validity of the analyses ? Do not confuse correlation with causation ? Have open and honest discussions to evaluate the analyses ? Encourage diverse perspectives and constructive criticism ? Allow all team members to voice concerns ? Ask probing questions about the data sources and methodologies used ? Be aware of common mistakes in data interpretation ? Underestimating the importance of sample sizes and confidence intervals ? Assuming generalizability regardless of context ? Not validating a result with supporting research when needed ? Encourage all team members to question the data and its assumptions ? Have team members explore the data using various techniques ? Don’t dismiss unexpected findings ? Place value on differing approaches and viewpoints ? View decision-making as an iterative process ? Reflect on the data and its implications ? Adjust plans given new data, if necessary ? Continuously work to improve the quality of conversations Businesses must thoughtfully analyze their data and avoid the extremes of easily accepting or outrightly dismissing it.
