Pluckers Wing Bar has finally arrived in Mesquite! The official opening day is Monday, December 16. We got a sneak peek and you won't be disappointed! We tried several flavors (Hot Buffalo, Spicy Lemon Pepper, Spicy BBQ, Spicy Ranch, Mangonero, and their hottest sauce, Fire in the Hole), waffle fries, tater tots and Fried Cookies and Cream for dessert! The service was great, the wings were crispy and sauced well and the fried cookies and cream were the perfect way to end the meal! We're excited to add another great restaurant in the Rodeo Capital of Texas!

We received a special package with custom cookies and letter today from a couple who visited Mesquite during the Solar Rodeo from Denmark! The letter, which we were asked to share with staff, volunteers and all of Mesquite reads: "A very warm greeting from Copenhagen! It has now been two weeks since the eclipse and our visit to Mesquite, but we can't stop thinking and talking about the amazing time we had and the fantastic people we have met. The warm welcome, the parade, farmers market, block party (Lisa on the dance floor!) and the overall kindness we have witnessed was nothing short of magical. We are a bit sad that we could not say a proper goodbye to all and celebrate the eclipse with all of you as planned. After all the way we travelled, we did not dare risk the weather. So glad to hear that you also got to see totality! We are both rocking our Solar Rodeo T-shirts around Copenhagen, and I am absolutely in love with the sun and moon earrings from Beverly!
