Our team just wrapped up our book club on “Unreasonable Hospitality” by Will Guidara, and it was a powerful reminder that every interaction is an opportunity to create a memorable experience. Whether it’s creating opportunities to make guests feel special, collaborating with planners and partners, or supporting each other as a team, we believe hospitality should be at the heart of everything we do. Taking the time and attention to go a step further with your service makes an impact every time, but the challenge comes with the fact that hospitality must be catered and individualized to suit the needs of the guests and organizations. When a grandparent brings their grandchild into our visitors center without any plan of how they are going to keep a kid entertained, we are empowered to share our knowledge and expertise (and maybe a package of gummy snacks and a water) to help them make memories together that will last a lifetime (and our beautiful city gets to be the backdrop for those memories)!
