I’m Shawn Roberts ?? from Mrs. Wolf's senior internship class at Magic City Campus.??I’ve been interning with Visit Minot for the past few weeks. I enjoyed going to the Hostfest and having the chance to snap photos for Visit Minot’s socials. ?? I also wrote a blog about indoor activities that people 21 and under can do; some are even competitive! ? The Visit Minot team was kind and supported my interests in marketing; I hope they continue to give opportunities like this to future interns. ??

Unveiling four NEW ?attractions will be opening in downtown Minot in 2025. ?? These destination development projects include: ???????????????? ??????????: A pedestrian-only public plaza featuring a fountain, splash pad, art installations, and seasonal amenities. ???? ????. ????: A marketplace featuring a farm-to-table eatery, games, entertainment, and more in a historic downtown building. ???? ???????????????? ???????? ???????? & ????????????: An expanded all-season event space featuring geodesic igloos and a heated pergola that offers year-round activities. ???? ???????????? ???????????? ???? ?????????????? ?????? ????????????: An exploration of culture featuring unique, educational, and celebratory culinary experiences curated by the team and culture bearers from under the Aurora Borealis: Scandinavian, Indigenous, German-Russian, and local growers. ???? The projects received a combined $1 million in funding from the North Dakota Department of Commerce.

Bremer Bank toured the Magic City this week and met Thorvald the Troll, the most photographed man in town.??Thank you to Minot's branch for hosting representatives from across the region, allowing them to see the #MagicInMinot.??

Today, we are saying 'See you soon' to Tonya Parker as she begins her new?journey at?a key hotel partner. Tonya has been an invaluable part of our team, and we know her exceptional people skills, grit, and southern hospitality?will take her far in this new role. ??Tonya is passing the Director of Team Events & Meetings baton to Emily Love. ? Emily joins us with a wealth of experience and a natural affinity for sports, having previously worked closely with a local team. Her passion and expertise are already shining through, and we're eager to see the fresh perspective she brings to our team.?? #MagicInMinot

We were excited to host international tour operators from Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands in Minot. We would like to thank?RMI?for organizing the #InternationalRoundup2024, which allowed us to meet tour guides from all over the world. ???? We also appreciate the?North Dakota Department of Commerce?for taking the tour through Minot and wish them a safe journey as they head to Bismarck and Fargo.?#IRU2024
