关于我们
The City of Broken Arrow was formed in 1902 and named for the Muscogee Creek settlement of Native Americans who were forced from their homes during the Trail of Tears and brought to what is today Oklahoma. From statehood forward, Broken Arrow would be a driving force in Oklahoma's history. From electing the first female mayor in not only Broken Arrow but Oklahoma in 1931 to hosting the longest-running festival in Oklahoma of Rooster Days and being home to the award-winning downtown area of the Rose District, Broken Arrow is a town blooming with opportunity. Today guests and residents can enjoy all sorts of attractions in Broken Arrow, from our beautiful parks like the nationally recognized Ray Harral Nature Park, to our amazing shopping and food options, to our hospitable hotels and conference spaces.

A huge thank you to our friends at Tulsa Regional Chamber for an enlightening intercity visit to Detroit! A leadership group from the City of Broken Arrow joined leaders across the region to learn about economic development and tourism. We were given an exclusive tour of the historic home of Henry and Clara Ford and enjoyed an evening at the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. We visited Newlab and the amazing Michigan Central Station, where the audience heard about Detroit’s story of transformation. Blake Ewing, chief of staff for Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum, had a formal conversation Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, and attendees listened to insightful panel discussions on housing and inclusive development and downtown development. It was perfect weather for walking tours of downtown and Detroit’s revitalized riverfront. Opportunities like this are so important for innovation and growth. We’re already looking forward to next year! Visit Broken Arrow City of Broken Arrow
