This. Just In. Get a timeline of your nonverbal behaviors on any call or assessment. Being generally aware of your nonverbal behaviors is a competitive advantage in and of itself. But knowing?how your behaviors evolve during a call?can be even more indicative. ??We have a new product feature that now shows you the flow of your video presence as a timeline, with?your choice?of seeing example screenshots of specific behaviors, at specific times.?? We added this feature based on user feedback. People wanted more detailed insights into?exactly when they were exhibiting the behaviors?affecting their virtual presence score. Now you can follow the narrative of your behaviors. For instance, you can see?how you start off strong with dynamic facial expressions, an upright posture and hands free from your face...only to lose these beneficial nonverbals as the call goes on. Or maybe it's the opposite... Try a free assessment for yourself and let us know what you think! https://lnkd.in/etgfHG56

In the latest episode of Conversations in The Future of Work, Rachel Cossar posed an interesting question to our guest, Neal Sundberg, NBC-HWC, CRC: How can companies adopt coaching practices that scale, while mitigating concerns around technology, AI, and evolving workplace dynamics? ???? Neal emphasized that the key to successfully implementing coaching programs in organizations lies in having the right people at the table. They should be well-versed in the value of coaching and its impact, ensuring that any technological tools or AI solutions complement and amplify—not replace—the human aspect of coaching. As organizations navigate the hybrid workplace, it’s important to foster executive presence and engage the entire workforce in meaningful conversations about coaching. This is not just about improving performance but creating a supportive, sustainable culture where employees feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow. By addressing potential concerns upfront and clearly articulating the benefits of coaching, organizations can ensure smoother transitions and more successful program integration??? Rachel Cossar?and I first connected in 2019—just before the COVID pandemic. Little did I know then that our conversation on non-verbal behavior, presence, and leadership would become even more relevant as the world shifted to virtual communication. ? Since that first meeting, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with?Rachel?on various initiatives. She has brought her expertise in virtual presence to my executive participants at IMD, helping them to understand and master the unique language of connection in a digital world. Every interaction?Rachel?has had with them has not only received outstanding reviews, but participants also walked away with practical, actionable tools that they could immediately apply in their leadership practices. I also am in awe of how she is using AI to enhance leaders' understanding of their verbal and non-verbal strengths and weaknesses. ? In the ever-evolving and often turbulent landscape in which my executive participants must lead, I look forward to continuing to work with?Rachel. Her tools and practices at Virtual Sapiens are invaluable and evolve in step with the challenges of our time and she is a true master in the work she does. https://lnkd.in/dXMGKBH5

Scaling Team Dynamics & Organizational Psychology is this week’s episode of Conversations in the Future of Work. This week our CEO Rachel Cossar welcomes Bobbi Wegner, Psy.D. of Groops. Bobbi is working on scaling organizational psychology and support for teams, addressing critical needs around connection and collaboration.? Here’s what Bobbi believes needs to shift in today’s workplace: ?? Addressing Disconnection: Younger generations, especially Gen Z, have a different relationship with the office—many would rather leave a job than be required to work full-time in the office. But it's not just about being "in person". ?? Opportunity for Training & Growth: Companies need to step back and ask: "How can we optimize our workforce in a way that aligns with both business goals and the psychology of individuals and teams?" ?? The Power of Resetting Workplace Norms: By embracing the psychology of teams and the evolving needs of the workforce, organizations can create a more connected, productive, and authentic work environment. Organizations that are thoughtful, intentional, and human-centered in how they structure work, train their teams, and create connections will succeed in the future of work. What change would YOU make if you had a magic wand to improve organizational dynamics? Enter Virtual Sapiens, led by Rachel Cossar ??♀ Virtual Sapiens is a clever platform that uses AI to provide professionals with a conversation partner and communication coach, all in one. I've tried the Role Play with AI myself to practice challenging conversation moments--it helped me defend my angle, refine my language, and gave ways to politely push back. ???Check the screenshots to see how the AI gave me detailed feedback on how I come across and areas I can improve.... Try out a FREE assessment at the link in comments -- highly rec for companies who value clear, effective communication across teams for the art it truly is.

It's easy to get caught up in the present and future, especially when you are in the thick of running an AI startup. In a conversation I had recently with Toby Sinclair, he asked me a great question about where this all began from a product perspective. "What was the MVP like??" I had to pause a moment to think back over 4 years to when the initial idea for Virtual Sapiens started. It's amazing to remember that in fact, our very first step was a very non-scalable MVP. People would send in videos of themselves answering a few simple questions. Yours truly would go through each and every one of the videos, providing more and more specific and exacting feedback on the individuals' nonverbals. Some of the very first assumptions we had to test, were: ???Is it even possible to get AI to provide nuanced enough feedback on nonverbals? Or is every person so different we can't actually develop the proper algorithms for the AI to consistently consider? ???Will people, thinking they are getting feedback from AI, trust it? Will they value it? Or will they immediately discount it? You see, even though it was little old me in the background, analyzing these videos, we had to present the solution as though it was AI driven. Because understanding people's reactions to it was paramount to our future success. As a result of these early tests, we were able to build out our platform to what it is today: one of the only AI communication coaching platforms to provide personalized, nuanced feedback on your nonverbal (and vocal) communication behaviors. (Of course, we also now provide feedback on what you say!) Thanks again to Toby for asking this great question, I hope it's helpful to anyone out there starting their own big idea. Those first tiny steps may feel too slow or not audacious enough, but they are the building blocks of real progress. Anyone else remember their first tiny step??

This week, our CEO Rachel Cossar and Dr. Gleb Tsipursky discussed how businesses can effectively manage the shift to hybrid work. The conversation revealed strategies for leaders who are looking to leverage real gains in the future of work, instead of slapping on a one size fits all strategy (or lack thereof). Key Takeaways: ?? Strategic planning over knee-jerk reactions: Hybrid work requires a long-term approach. ?? Building trust and culture in hybrid models demands the right tools, clear communication and explicit expectations. ?? Bridging the generational gap: Empathy and emotional intelligence are essential in helping different generations adapt to the new world of work. From younger to old, we all have something to learn from different perspectives. Take a look at our excerpt for more! ??Full video link in comments #HybridWork #Leadership #FutureOfWork #DigitalTransformation #GenerationalGap #ExecutivePresence #VirtualSapiens

Former Senior Director of Coaching Services at Headspace | Owner of Neal Sundberg Coaching and Consulting
Early on in my coaching and therapy career, I received consistent supervision and feedback. As you move forward in your career, it is very common for that feedback and support to decrease or even no longer exist. I am a strong advocate for ongoing feedback and supervision to continue throughout your career. No matter how seasoned of a professional that you may become, there is always room to grow. As I recently pondered the thought of getting back into coaching and the nerves that came with it, I was fortunate enough to connect with Rachel Cossar and Virtual Sapiens. As the video and the feedback in the comments section shows, I was able to have mock coaching sessions with their virtual AI platform to ease some of those nerves, but even better, I received feedback on how I was presenting and areas in which I can improve on. I see this type of technology as posing a significant opportunity for offering this ongoing feedback that I would love to see adopted more in provider spaces and training programs. Especially with privacy and HIPAA concerns, these mock sessions provide a safe way to gather useful feedback, try out new skills, and continue to grow. If I am a coaching supervisor, I can look over this session with the coach and would likely share that they may have been a bit directive here and could have utilized the motivational interviewing skill of Elicit-Provide-Elicit. If you are an organization that is looking to implement something like this, or have other thoughts on how your organization could utilize this type of technology, Rachel Cossar is a great partner! I used the platform earlier today to practice prior to joining her podcast and this provided with another great use case example of how this technology can support. Thanks, Rachel and the Virtual Sapiens team. So excited to see this type of technology develop and more of these use cases come to fruition.

Great kick-off Season 4 of Conversations in The Future of Work! We couldn’t agree more with the thoughts of Rachel Cossar and our GTM Advisor Mary Shea, PhD. We’re just at the beginning of a shift in how we work. With advancements in AI and automation tools, the concept of a 3- to 4-day workweek might become reality in the next few years. As technology continues to lend a hand to productivity, we may see smaller workforces, with some interesting hints in society like a universal basic income. We’re in inning one of this transformation, and the pace is accelerating. It can be easy to get overwhelmed, and hard to stay positive, hear what Mary has to say about how she stays positive and energized in the full video (link in comments) How do you see automation and AI reshaping the future of work in your industry? #Innovation #AI #FutureOfWork #Automation #GenerativeAI #Leadership
