ABSOLUTELY PUMPED! ? ? Last month we crossed 2,000 corporate customers, with Toyota North America, Microsoft, and Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. joining the Headshots.com family!?? More below... We've seen significant growth in our 3rd full year, outpacing last year's new teams onboarded monthly by more than 50% Here are some keys to our success this year: 1. We've doubled-down on the customer: We've always been customer centric, but we really evaluated at the end of last year how we can improve the customer experience. We pulled all of our teams in to weigh in on a big list of proposed ideas, then spent a marathon day figuring out the theme and identifying which ideas would make it to the final round for execution this year. At the end of it all, it never came down to throwing more features at customers. It came down to the customer experience. 2. We validated our theories above: Starting in January we kicked off a customer roadshow, interviewing 20 customers (hard to choose from 1,600 at the time), ensuring we only build what would simplify their lives and make them feel even more confident, without compromising quality and consistency. "Build" here doesn't mean just software. (Shoutout to Claire Suellentrop and her badass book "Forget the Funnel") 3. We've made BIG investments in our people this year: We've hired several more folks to ensure the customer experience is great at every interaction (yes, we still believe in hiring PEOPLE). We invested in team education. And, we created processes that allow the free flow of ideas, created clarity around goals & targets, and most importantly emphasized a HUGE focus on the customer across all team members. (Shoutout to Verne Harnish and his incredible book "Scaling Up") Last week we made the biggest software purchase in our company's history and it is entirely focused on providing an even deeper customer experience than we already have today (more on that to come next week). You might be asking "How the hell does focusing on the customer help bring in MORE customers?" To that I would ask, "How do YOU think being customer centric helps bring in more customers?
