Our very own, Juliet Dadras recently returned from India spending time in a local orphanage inspired from her graduate coursework with the Executive Master of Natural Resource (XMNR) program. ?? She along with two of her other classmates pursued a partnership with Orphans In Asia for this independent project centered around global sustainability. Nice job, Juliet! #UtProsim

Our Biosafety Group, along with the Virginia Tech Institutional Biosafety Committee Program, hosted the Biosafety & Biosecurity Day. At the event we had prizes, raffles, photo booths, crafts, and a biosecurity-themed escape room. ???? Thanks to everyone who stopped by!

The campaign for this year's Fire Prevention Week is, "Smoke Alarms: Make them work for you!" According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), smoke alarms reduce the risk of dying in a home fire by 54%.
