Last week, Chief Master Sergeant of the Space Force John F. Bentivegna stopped by the Innovation Hub. He met with the VT-ARC team for a tour of the space followed by a demonstration from two of the IHub's government partners in the facility's new cyber lab. Enlisted members of the Space Force from the 33rd range squadron and the Delta 12 Cyber Test Crew started with a brief overview of their Space Cyber Test Range (SCTR). This rapidly deployable, persistently available, distributed testing system supports the space mission throughout the lifecycle by enabling aggressive cyber testing from the end users' systems to space software and hardware in the loop. The cyber teams then demonstrated the SCTR, showcasing its interfaces, range support request methods, and a cyber blueprint being developed for the 14th Test and Evaluation Squadron. CMSSF Bentivenga participated in a brief Q&A before meeting with members of the Space Force Association at the Innovation Hub. It was our pleasure to host CMSSF Bentivenga, his team, and our wonderful partners from the Space Force Association! Be sure to follow our new LinkedIn to stay up to date on the latest VIP visitors at the Innovation Hub. #Innovation #SpaceForce #Cyber Virginia Tech Applied Research Corporation Basic Research Innovation Collaboration Center (BRICC) Karen Lawrie
