The Academy is a cornerstone of VA Revolution Soccer Club. It is designed for kids, ages 5-11, of all skill levels. This is not your typical recreational soccer program. The goal of this program is to bring an emphasis of fun and development for all players. Integral parts of our program include a professional coaching staff, age-appropriate curriculum, small group training and upstanding communication. Our efforts have proven successful with many Academy players moving on to our Travel Program.

We pride ourselves on creating a pathway for our players. Academy Select does just that. It provides a developmentally appropriate pre-travel opportunity for our U7's and U8's who are passionate players committed to enhancing their abilities. Thank you to our kit sponsor Paliton Networks.

Revolution Sports Academy (“RSA”), in partnership with DC United, is a college and professional readiness program for middle and high school boys and girls with academic support delivered by the leading provider of educational services to the MLS, SAI Academy. RSA, housed on Revolution’s 37-acre campus in Loudoun County, will provide students with access to the area’s most advanced sporting facility during their day as well as an opportunity to interact with SAI’s experienced teaching staff.

Saturday night was one to remember—not just for the fun we shared, but for a moment that meant a lot more. We had the honor of presenting a check to our very own Michele: an awesome coach, an incredible parent, and a beloved part of our VA Revolution family. Introducing our Athletic Development Director Seth Cain. His role is to enhance athlete performance on the field through strength, speed, agility, and coordination training. Through the instruction of proper biomechanics, our athletes will become more effective and efficient in the sport. Seth has both a bachelors and masters degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis on strength and conditioning. He has experience playing in Belgium as a youth, NCAA, UPSL, and 2 years coaching. He holds his USSF D License.

Introducing our Director of Goalkeeping, Jack Stefanowski. He brings over 20 years of coaching experience to the soccer field, with a proven track record of success at both the national and professional levels. Licensed with both UEFA “A” and USSF “A,” Jack has guided teams like Puerto Rico and Nepal to new heights, including improving Puerto Rico’s FIFA ranking from 158 to 112 and leading Nepal to its first win over India in 28 years. Known for his passion and ability to inspire players, Jack has coached with top clubs like Loudoun United, DC United Academy, and Puerto Rico FC, and has been involved in five CONCACAF Champions Leagues.

We are looking forward to our next VA Revolution Pro game against Cesena FC, October 19th. Kickoff at 6:30 PM. This event will benefit Backpack Buddies Foundation of Loudoun Inc. This is a private, grant writing, nonprofit organization who’s mission is to ensure no school-aged child goes hungry. Through the generous donations from individuals, businesses, and local groups, they provide funding and added expertise to over 20 grass roots supporting organizations that are dedicated to feeding over 3,000 students who might otherwise go hungry over school weekends and extended breaks.
