Begun in 1992, by the Shenandoah Chapter and expanded in 2000 with other Virginia AFP chapters, the Institute draws attendees from all over Virginia, DC, Maryland and West Virginia and is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2022.

We are so excited to introduce one of our keynote speakers for this year's conference - Sabrina Walker Hernandez, MPA! Sabrina started her company, Supporting World Hope , from a hospital bed after being diagnosed with cancer. She is obsessed with building relationships, and helping mission-driven businesses and nonprofits increase their revenue. Having trained over 10,000 clients, Sabrina has a reputation for transformational leadership through staffing and mission alignment, funding systems, community partnership, and employee retention. From helping an organization go from $750K to $2.5M, completing a $12M comprehensive capital campaign, to establishing a $500K endowment in the 3rd poorest county in the United States.
