Lawmakers are considering drastic Medicaid cuts that would put older adults, people with disabilities, and low-income families at risk. More than 1.8 million Virginians rely on Medicaid coverage. Cuts would shift healthcare costs onto families, many of whom are already struggling with paying for education, groceries, housing and bills. As the budget process moves forward, now is the time to make your voice heard.
