HB1828/SB1436 is awaiting Governor Youngkin’s signature—and it could be a game-changer for patients at risk of breast cancer. This bipartisan bill would eliminate all co-pays, coinsurance, and deductibles for diagnostic and supplemental breast imaging—including diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and MRIs—for insurance plans regulated by the Commonwealth - reducing financial barriers to timely detection and treatment. As breast cancer remains one of the leading health concerns for women, early and equitable access to imaging is critical. The Governor has until March 24 to act on this legislation. https://lnkd.in/eSPkft3m
