?? Challenge: ArtPride New Jersey sought to amplify the state’s arts and culture sector by launching a completely redesigned JerseyArts.com. Despite the arts’ significant economic impact—generating over $532 million annually and supporting nearly 10,000 jobs—many New Jerseyans were unaware of its full scope. ?? Solution: Violet PR was enlisted to drive media coverage and public engagement, positioning the new JerseyArts.com as the state's go-to resource for arts and culture. Our 4-week campaign leveraged a compelling, data-driven media strategy focused on securing media interviews with ArtPride leadership to emphasize the role of the arts in job creation, tourism, and community enrichment. ?? Results: The campaign generated coverage across broadcast, written, and podcast formats in prominent New Jersey news outlets, including MY9 NJ, NJBIZ, NJ Spotlight News, New Jersey Business, and the New Jersey Morning Show, among others. ?? Today, as part of William Paterson University of New Jersey’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) PRO Smart Series, we had the pleasure of welcoming Esma Senman, a standout alum, back to campus! Esma, AAE, Economic Development Violet PR shared her college-to-career journey. Esma provided insights into the #VioletPR approach to effective #publicrelations and #mediarelations. She led an engaging workshop on #EnvironmentalPR and #B2B #MediaPitching, giving our students a hands-on, interactive lesson in strategic media target research. The session concluded with a dynamic Q&A, where Esma offered expert advice on #networking, #internships, and landing that first job. As an undergraduate, Esma was actively engaged on campus as a PR major, Honors College student, and leader on the SPRA e-board. She earned multiple academic project Maltese Awards for Excellence in PR. It’s no surprise that Esma is thriving both professionally and personally! She truly embodies our #WillPower #PowerhouseOfProgress mentality, and we’re so grateful for her time and dedication to inspiring the next generation of #publicrelations professionals.
