Israel is currently home to 2,170 AI startups, making up approximately 30% of all active startups in the country. Yesterday, we celebrated the completion of our first AI Accelerator program in Tel Aviv with a Demo Day attended by 120 prominent tech leaders from the local industry. This marks the conclusion of an intensive 4-month program during which we welcomed 10 exceptional AI companies into our offices. These startups were carefully chosen by a selection committee comprising our representatives and leading investors from Israel’s tech ecosystem. We couldn’t be prouder of what you’ve accomplished! Twee: An AI-powered edtech platform enabling English teachers to create custom lesson plans and exercises in minutes, paving the way for a comprehensive Language Learning Experience Platform. QR Genetics: A biotech company leveraging AI to develop innovative solutions for rare and common genetic diseases, revolutionizing targeted medicine. Adge.ai: A content optimization platform that bridges the gap between creative processes and performance data, helping brands cut costs and boost profitability by at least 25%. Lucid: The first AI Financial Officer for startups and SMBs, providing instant financial plans, forecasts, and KPIs to drive sustainable growth. Weavy: A studio-grade content creation platform that uses AI-powered workflows to scale production capacity for in-house studios and agencies. Vinst: An AI-powered cooking companion enhancing home cooking through real-time vision support, promoting healthier and sustainable nutrition. OrCam Hear: A hybrid hearables solution allowing users to focus on specific conversations in noisy environments, redefining assistive listening technology. Spines: An AI-driven publishing platform simplifying the end-to-end process of book publishing, from editing to global distribution. Panjaya: A video content adaptation tool that preserves speakers’ natural voice and lip movements while translating to any language. When people ask me what I love about my job, my answer is twofold: first, it's the talented, smart, and kick-ass people I get to work with; second, it's the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of people and businesses. The Meta AI Accelerator Program, which was just a dream a year ago, became a reality thanks to?Adi Soffer Teeni?and?Anat Elhanani. They believed in me and, as they always do, gave me the freedom to turn the impossible into possible. In my 6+ years at Meta, I've done some cool things, but this is probably one of the proudest moments of my career. Last week, we celebrated the completion of our first program with a Demo Day attended by 120 tech leaders&VCs from the tech-industry. Super proud to launch our first-ever Meta AI Accelerator program: a collaborative initiative between our Business and R&D Meta sites that has been in the making for months. This program is designed to support the growth of AI startups and foster innovation in the local tech ecosystem. Over the next 4 months, 10 exceptional startups will be working from our office, leveraging cutting-edge AI technology to accelerate their growth. These startups were selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants, after extensive interviews with our incredible committee including VC partners (Maor Fridman, Ron Tamir, David Feldman???, Roni Bonjack and Dana Bublil). Each startup will be paired with Meta’s expert mentors—coming from AI, product, and business domains and will have access to masterclass lectures by tech leaders and experts in the AI field.
