The Center for Marketing and Consumer Insights brings together the world-class faculty from the Villanova School of Business with top marketers from leading firms for an uncommon academic experience in marketing. Our Advisory Council includes professionals at all levels of marketing who embrace Villanova's values around service and community. As a result, we can enrich the curriculum with real-world knowledge and experiences that not only puts theory to practice but also gives Villanova marketing students a distinct advantage in the professional world. Together with the Villanova marketing department, CMCI offers a wide range of industry programs including expert lectures, panel discussions, in-class case challenges, corporate site visits, immersion experiences, leading conferences and more. More recently, we responded to the worldwide shift to digital by providing students with virtual events, original video content, and a curated library of industry certifications and credentials. Through our Consumer Insights Lab, CMCI also gives students hands-on experience developing primary research and insights to support coursework, entrepreneurial ventures, and pro-bono client projects. In total, CMCI supports more than 50 undergraduate research studies annually.

Reposting CMCI Ambassador Glory Wells to commend her excellent work!
Today, during Women's History Month, we are highlighting Glory Wells. As the President and Founder of the Association of Black Communication Students (ABCS), Glory created a space for students to develop their creative talents and access professional opportunities. Under her leadership, ABCS has launched impactful initiatives, including its first official trip to CultureCon last October, where 13 members attended the Brooklyn-based conference celebrating Black creativity and innovation. Providing experiences like this are a key part of her mission, she is constantly researching Black creative and communication-focused events at the national, local, and campus levels to connect members with opportunities for personal and professional growth.

On Friday, CMCI was hosted by four incredible Villanovans at the Philadelphia Phillies for our inaugural Diversity in Sports Marketing Immersion. We were treated to a stadium tour of Citizen's Bank Park and an alumni panel with Q&A. Thank you to Kenny Johnson, Missy Perez, Jon Joaquin, and Ryan Dorrycott for having us out and your time spent on the insightful panel. A special shout out to Elizabeth Miller, CMCI's Warner Fellow for Inclusive Marketing, for planning and spearheading this initiative.

On January 8-9th, just before the start of the final semester as a senior, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Villanova CMCI Marketing Immersion Experience in New York City. Throughout this trip, I gained insight into the Tech/Analytics side of marketing, specifically how AI is integrating into the industry. Hearing from Villanova alumni and industry leaders gave me a deeper understanding of how AI and data drive innovation across different marketing careers. I am truly grateful to IBM, Google, GroupM, VML, and Ford Motor Company for hosting us and sharing their expertise. It was a joy to be able to tour these amazing companies and learn and network with established alumni. I would like to give a huge thank you to the Villanova Center for Marketing and Consumer Insights and the Davis Family for making this experience possible. I would also like to thank Ivy Wang and Kate Grady for their guidance and dedication to organizing such a well-planned and inspiring trip. This experience amplified my passion for marketing and sales, and I look forward to applying these insights as I continue to grow and navigate my career!

Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to partake in the Villanova CMCI Marketing Immersion Experience in New York City. During the trip, I gained valuable insights from Villanova alumni and further explored the marketing world. This immersive experience allowed me to deepen my understanding of marketing and analytics in combination with AI. With the use of AI being a prevalent trend in the industry today, this experience broadened my knowledge of how different careers are starting to integrate AI regularly. I would like to thank IBM, Google, GroupM, VML, and WPP-Ford for hosting us and contributing greatly to this extraordinary experience. Additionally, I would like to thank Villanova Center for Marketing and Consumer Insights and the Davis Family for making this amazing opportunity possible. Lastly, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Ivy Wang and Kate Grady for organizing and planning this experience with such intricacy. I am very much looking forward to integrating what I've learned from this experience as I navigate my career journey!

I’m incredibly grateful to have participated in the Villanova School of Business NYC Marketing Immersion Program last week, focusing on the media/agency track. This unique experience provided an opportunity to connect with accomplished professionals from Omnicom Media Group, Paramount, GroupM, VML, and Ford Motor Company, who generously shared their insights and advice. Hearing from Villanova alumni about their various careers within the marketing industry was both inspiring and educational, offering valuable perspectives I’m excited to bring into my own professional journey. A huge thank you to Ivy Wang and the Villanova Center for Marketing and Consumer Insights for organizing such an impactful program, and to the alumni who gave their time to host us. I’m looking forward to applying what I’ve learned as I continue to grow in this dynamic field!

Last week I had the amazing opportunity to attend the 2025 Marketing Immersion in New York City with the Villanova Center for Marketing and Consumer Insights! I was selected to participate in this experience on the tech/ analytics track where I heard from professionals at IBM,Google,GroupM, VML, and Ford Motor Company. It was invaluable to hear from Villanova alumni about their role within the marketing and analytics fields and to gain industry knowledge and perspective. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from marketing professionals and am eager to apply the insights I learned in the future. A big thank you to the alumni for generously hosting us and to Ivy Wang and the Center for Marketing and Consumer Insights for this experience!
