Construction of Harmony Square is moving quickly, with the new Teehan’s Tavern building starting to take shape. At the hospitality building, workers have installed the steel roof trusses, which are sheathed and awaiting roof-textured shingles (to be installed in about one week). Workers also have installed faced brick on the rooftop patio along the parapet walls and exposed second-floor walls (north elevation), and are installing interior partitions, interior plumbing, electrical and HVAC duct on the basement and first- and second-floor spaces. The rough electrical and plumbing is installed and inspected at the second-floor open patio area, and workers are finalizing installation of the steel trellis. At the stage building, masonry work has begun on the exterior walls, elevator shafts, and stair shafts on the first floor. Workers have installed the electrical service troughs and poured the first-floor deck. Backfill is complete along the stage area. Workers have started installing the basement plumbing rough pipe. The steel trellis is installed at the VIP building, and the first-floor rough electrical and plumbing also is installed and inspected. Workers have poured the first-floor slab. The roof membrane and roof insulation is installed, and exterior brick work should start within a week. Overall at the site, numerous concrete footings and piers have been installed for the exterior shade feature located in the southeast area of the open public site. Workers have poured the garden walls for localized seating at multiple areas in the open viewing area of the band stage. Final stone install on the benches will occur at the end of the project.
